As for using cpaps as ventilator alternatives, I’ve heard mixed answers. In the Kirkland nursing home, iirc the emergency responders using cpaps in effect aerosolized the virus and spread it further. That’s not to say they wont be of some help as a breathing aid when used in an isolated environment. Hopefully we’ll get more concrete answers on that eventually.
