Wildest part of this guyā€™s story is that he doesnā€™t have a right-wing radio show.

It really depends on the scenario.

11.5 year old kid who is starting in person school in a couple of weeks. I donā€™t think going off label there is a ā€œsignificant mistakeā€.

As Iā€™m discovering, getting it off label for kids is not trivial. If anyone has any leads or ideas, please post or PM me. Iā€™d travel a great distance to make it happen.

We havenā€™t seriously considered it for our 11 year old, but Iā€™m surprised my wife hasnā€™t been fighting for it. Sheā€™s been semi considering taking him some place and just lying about his age, so Iā€™m not sure why seeking off label would be any different.

Ok fair enough. I was in my own world. Vaxxing a 6 year old seems like a significant mistake.

If I had a 10 or 11 year old, I would 100% do this. Mine are too young and short to pass.

Friend of mine is a elementary teacher. They just sent the entire third grade home for virtual learning because too many people got sick.

Iā€™m not sold on that either, but I think that is a much more tenable position.

Admittedly, Iā€™m still in the process of forming my opinion.

Have no real interest in doing my younger kids off label given they are testing what the right dosage is for younger kids.

In a functional society, nobody is consuming horse medicine.

Two of my cousins are nurses. They are both unvaccinated and against the requiring of nurses to get a COVID vaccine. One of them is so strong in her opinion that she is leaving the profession.

In this conversation, I have now found out that she believes Infowars is a credible news source and that her son was given autism by a vaccine. Welp, probably losing this cousin as a friend.

Son got vaccine, autism showed up X amount of time later. Yep, you are never ever convincing that mom otherwise. Might as well try to convert evangelicals to atheism.

Also I am just as SHOCKED as every Federalist Society judge to find out that not everyone is in on the joke and realizes Infowars is entertainment only.

Thatā€™s reasonable. However, based on the knowledge available right now one could certainly make some sort of educated guess about the relative risks of vaccinating a younger kid vs the risks of them contracting COVID and suffering a bad outcome.

Even with the unknowns at this point, it wouldnā€™t surprise me if the EV calculation favored vaccinating for a large subset of kids.

Itā€™s incomprehensible to me that this person could have been a friend in the first place. There is no way this level of stupid did not bleed into other aspects of her personality, which should have made her not friend material in the first place.

Admittedly I know almost no antivaxxers in real life, so I donā€™t have a lot of first hand experience. I can think of only two and I knew exactly what they were even before COVID.

I read through the FLCCC protocols and they are recommending Spironolactone, a powerful anti-androgen commonly used in hormone replacement therapy.

We are witnessing a natural selection event in action.

Definitely. And this is leaving out the all important first step, which is often hidden by self-serving bias: Ignore autism symptoms in child.

Youā€™re probably right. ā€œFriendā€ is doing a lot of work here and Iā€™m over indexing on our childhood friendship and not the reality of our current, which is only talking a few times a year but always on good terms. To further clarify my statement, I have at least soured those good terms.
