You hate to see them quote that 1,296 in a day stat. It alllows people to question all the other correct and devastatingly bad results. I believe that 1,296 was the number reported one day, but included true-ups to prior days. I believe the highest single day total fot COVID deaths in Florida is 369. The data is bad enough that it doesnt need to be misrepresented.

I think the CDC says if you donât have symptoms to just make sure you wear your mask in public and get tested 3-5 days after contact. I donât think you need to fully isolate, but I would stay away from anyone who is high risk just in case.
My work sent me home when I informed them anyways though so who knows.
Probably better to isolate just to be sure, but if you gotta make some grocery runs or something I think just make sure you have a good mask and you should be ok?

Yeah, this is pretty reasonable. Might be a decent time to check out grocery delivery or curbside pickup, but I wouldnât begrudge a masked, vaccinated person running a few quick errands in a masked environment before a test is even likely to turn up positive for a true infection.

Pfizerâs vaccine provided 88% protection against hospitalization, and Modernaâs was 93% effective.
Johnson & Johnsonâs Janssen vaccine comes in third, but still provides 71% protection

Interesting that they donât say if the deceased were vaxxed or not. Not sure if thatâs because some were, or because doing so would be an actual HIPAA violation.

Me and moms got moderna. Odd I was a lil jelly and if I could have chosen initially I would have said Pfizer because the stats for that was better. Early on Pfizer was considered 95% effective and Moderna only 80% effective for those over 65.
