Moderna just released information that it has found that it’s protection doesn’t wane after 6 months and remains at least 93 percent effective at preventing symptomatic covid after 6 months:
Guess I’m glad I got Moderna after all.
Edit: Not actually serious about caring about Moderna vs Pfizer.

Here’s hoping it keeps lasting and that Moderna isn’t lying
Heard on the radio on the way into work last night that yesterday was the highest number of confirmed positive cases in a day in North Carolina since February.
I didn’t keep count, but I’d estimate 12-20 covid positives came through my Emergency Department in my 12 hours last night. I took care of two of them, including a 32 year old, who went home.
Mostly people of color, not a representative ratio of generic white people. Black, Spanish-speaking, Asian. Pretty sure all were unvaccinated, I didn’t hear of any breakthrough cases.

Looks right. 7dma is just over 1/4 of the peak (unlike Florida which is about to start setting new records in 7dma) but climbing fast.
