I disagree that’s a likely outcome but suppose it’s possible. That doesn’t make the trumpcare comment any more serious though.
Someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’ t there is a way to make someone pay for COVID testing. It’s free pretty much everywhere due to federal law (I think, but if I’m wrong, let me know).
That’s a good point. I don’t doubt at all that there are breakthrough cases. I also don’t doubt that some people are lying and saying they got the vaccine. It’s just a question of how many.

50/50 when vaccinated doesn’t sound so great tbh/s
That’s not what that tweet says. From the first reply

Haven’t looked into the data myself
Yup… I shouldn’t be so sarcastic
Did I miss the /s? Apologies.
No… I edited it, alough it isi t obvious I was being sarcastic as you for one missed it.
I mean is there any chance the Olympics aren’t going to be a massive pozz fest?
So how high are we going in the US? I’m assuming we’re back into a weekly doubling phase - 100k per day with the low testing? 200k?
I don’t think so.
Waiting to see an event where the winner is the last negative athlete.
I have to admit I am starting to sweat my bet with churchill at this point.
What was the number on that?
7dma for cases needs to set a new high by dec 31, 2021.
My kid has been out of school now since March 2020, and I was 95% leaning towards sending them back to school in the fall, but now starting to get hesitant with the current covid levels in my red state. If we assume that unvaccinated are accounting for ~90% of new cases, then we aren’t far from peak January infection levels for the non-vaccinated.
How far are we from herd immunity?
50% vaccinated + 10% tested positive + (unknown)% Untested Asymptomatic - Overlap of Vaccinated Positive/Asymptomatic
What were the odds?
My $500 to his $250
Anyone have a good link that shows current covid rates state by state?
