Are they verifying eligibility in OR? I haven’t heard of anywhere that actually checks once you’ve signed up.

Apparently I’m now eligible in LA because I work in “education and childcare”. Now to actually get an appointment. So far nothing at the only available site in LA.

Both my parents have their first jabs now! They actually both got on a local CVS’s end-of-day waiting list and were called within a couple weeks with leftover doses. Big relief there.
I’m very encouraged by the number of people in this thread reporting first doses for themselves and others they know. Hopefully this continues.

- I’ve had covid-19, or at least probably so even without a positive test
- I’ve gotten at least one shot of one of the covid vaccines
- I’ve had neither.

CT significantly more OFB starting in 2 weeks.
I just checked Myturn and there was an appointment later today at CSU LA. Got sniped already I’m sure. Keep checking every hour. There’s always stuff popping up there. If you get appointment availability, immediately click on the latest time available, you will be less likely to be sniped as most people click on first one.

The only error here seems to be the UK vaccination rate of +99% in those over 65yrs (like the ones that were going to die). If UK population is going to have a bad 2021, then that spells bad news for elsewhere in ROW, other than maybe Israel.
The US, that is experiencing the domination of the UK variant right now, with numbers that aren’t ‘quite clear’ on what age groups have the vaccine, is about to get rampaged!
