I don’t even get all of these but I figured you cool people would.

The lack of Mom’s spaghetti is disappointing. I’m sure it could fit in there somewhere.

Anyway it’s a mix of lyrics from “One Shot” from the play Hamilton and “Lose Yourself” by Eminem

Do you have a reaction to needles?

My doctors office had a note in my file to send a second nurse when they were taking my blood because I’m a fainter, lol.

I got all the way to the final click at a rite aid site last night. Then I got red letters telling me someone else had booked the appointment.

Grrrrrrrrr.

I am totally confused about how worried we should be about variants. I’ve seen experts all over the place on this.

Definitely. I flew back from vacation on March 10 and in Toronto there was already lame screening at the airport (we were asked to self declare any symptoms but were mostly just waived through).

Be aware but not worried if you are vaxxed for now.

(If you aren’t vaxxed you should be worried regardless of variants).

To me it’s a long term worry as the world let’s this thing continue to circulate in large numbers and continually challenging it with folks that have partial protection. Great natural selection experiment to find versions that can evade the disease and vaccine acquired immunity.

The fact that it’s all spike protein related does limit the ability of thing to mutate its antigen too much, so it is far more likely we will stay ahead of it (maybe with a booster vaccine) but not impossible we get behind in the battle again.

Somewhere between “this is fine” and “we’re all gonna die.”

Kind of wish this was both true and an intentional attempt to punish Texas:

I’m fine with needles.

March 1st was the day we decided to pull the kids out of school. Locked down etc.

Turned out to be a pretty heavy anniversary. I was bleary eyed walking away from the jab and towards the second dose scheduling. And runny nosed under a kn95 in the 15 minutes waiting area afterward.

Just an amazing year, fucking unbelievable all around.

Republicans are so back in their comfort zone.

My company is planning on returning to work in the summer in an open office without requiring vaccines. Fuuuuuuuu

I probably can get an exemption from my manager if I complain, but wtf

The horror

Update: Per WApo, we are now at 2.01 million shots per day in the 7dma.

I went through mine and donated a bunch. Better than letting it expire.

We’ll be at 3 million per day by the end of of this month. Then that will start to fall again pretty fast because we’re going to run into demand issues.

NY just launched 24/7 overnight vaccinations in some of the NYC zips, this should help somewhat with the equity issues.

Thanks. I know it’s huge, but never listened to music from Hamilton. I thought “one shot” in his circle referred to getting shot by Burr. Actually just listened to “My Shot” on yt. I hear “Not throwing away my shot” in the lyrics. It’s good. Will check out some more.

That actually makes more sense.

But the overlap bet Eminem and Hamilton is obv the music
