COVID-19: Chapter 6 - ThanksGRAVING

Omg they lost to a flush draw

Some simple advisories on outdoor patio design and thermal comfort in cold climates could have done wonders. Tax credits for outdoor commercial radiant heating installations—anything.

Instead, we were told a vaccine or other miracle would make the virus go away before winter.

Que?

My point seems pretty clear?

Rather than any useful help or advice from the government on how to mitigate the virus’s spread, we just got wishcasting.

IIRC it was just going to disappear one day.

Who needs to worry about a disease that is going away in two weeks?

Yup. And while most people recognized that was an extreme position and not necessarily true, I think people subconsciously compromise with that position all the time. I think many people wound up believing the truth is somewhere in between the dire warning of health experts and the self-serving garbage spewed by trump.

I don’t think this is known. At least, some infectious droplets or aerosols are indeed moist, but the infectiousness of dry aerosols I don’t think is known.

Or with an infection, you shake the infection due to your innate immune response rather than acquired immunity (B cells and antibodies), or the antibodies that work in your case are for a mutation prone region of the protein that doesn’t last. Vaccines can selectively present the most important and conserved parts of viral proteins for your body to recognize and generate antibodies against, so a well-designed vaccine can produce better results.

Speaking of two weeks, did Trump ever release his bigly, most greatest healthcare plan?

Because we stole the election from him he’s not going to let us have it. So there!

This is how the GOP moves all the Overton windows. Most of the public just assumes the truth is somewhere in the middle. So the GOP goes batshit crazy and pulls the truth to their original position.

Greatest country in the world! USA! USA! USA!

The sooner the particles are pulled out of the air the more likely they stay moist from the original shedding and projecting from speaking/singing/couching?

I have no idea on the dry particle side other than that’s one element of how low humidity helps spread- heavier particles rapidly lose some moisture and become the lighter particles

Regardless using a fan/filter getting expelled infected air pulled down from face level is benefit 1.

Depositing on the floor or other surface is benefit 2

Capturing in a filter is benefit 3.

He’ll release it in 2025 if we re-elect him in 2024.

He’s like Will Arnett interviewing on The Office:

Whole interview really:
“How do we know you have a plan?”
“Of course I have a plan! Who would make that up?”

Are we going to have memorials every year like we do for 9/11 but it will be every day of the year?

Well, that’s not really true so I’m left confused unless you mean whatever random shit trump said

Yes he’s talking about trump and Fox etc

They told us it would just go away so why would we plan?
