I didn’t believe this when I first saw it. This is insane even pre covid.

so the way regeneron is described, it doesn’t sound like it gives immunity. it works by directly reducing viral load, and patient may or may not develop natural immunity.

you guys know anything about this?

hot take : trmp is still taking antibody treatments and/or he could still be susceptible/infectious.

The treatment doesn’t give immunity. However, it’s still very likely Trump developed his own b-cell (antibody producing) and t-cell immunities to the virus.

I just assume he received great treatment earlier than most people get and is better now. I haven’t heard about someone getting better and going back to work then weeks later ending up on a ventilator. I have heard about strokes or whatever later on and I guess that’s all you could hope for at this point.

Apparently one of my students tested positive for covid while in in-person classes were ongoing.

He was not held out of school while contagious.

Would’ve been nice to know that when we had our last class 12 days ago. Dude was walking around the school carrying the virus wherever he went.

Either I’m asymptomatic or did not contract it. His classmates are way more at risk.

This seems like domestic abuse forcing a likely trumper woman to touch minorities

Here’s a heartwarming tale about it all from 2018.

(Includes hot kissing action.)

Dustin Johnson one of the best golfers in the world is a big fan of blow, and just tested positive for covid

Not Mr Gretzky.

Meh. Hard to get pissed at a teenager for something like this. The system should have caught him and kept him from school.

Yesterday: Schools stay closed until the R0 reaches 0.8.

Today
Czech government: Schools will reopen unconditionally on November 2nd

Also Czech government: Hospitals will be at capacity by the end of October.

If you want to see a disorganized, inept government that isn’t America, look at the Czech Republic.

Very possible. Definitely was some shadiness in September. Students often know shit before teachers.

Most of my students are 18 or 19. The student in question is 17.

I’d really like to see the school penalized. They definitely haven’t kept teachers on the up and up like they should. I had to find out a lot of info about sick students from their classmates.

No doubt there were more covid positive students than the school acknowledged.

Wouldn’t be different anywhere else.

I’d take working at a school in the CR than America and it’s not even close.

Reality is that not every teacher is sold on covid being a big deal. Even with things being this bad, a lot of teachers were angry about going to distance learning. A couple of teachers actually broke quarantine for a day after being diagnosed with covid during September. They were asymptomatic at the time but were still contagious. Thankfully I had no contact with either of them.

Ummmmmm, it sure seems like shes the aggresor in those pictures

Just a vent so feel free to ignore.

My mom had an autoimmune swelling reaction to a minor trauma a few weeks back that landed her in the ICU with a tracheostomy. Two weeks later she was scheduled to be released for outpatient but today my brother who just visited her Monday tested positive for Covid. So now her entire timeline is in question and the whole family has been exposed. She was also on a vent so she’s way higher risk than typically would be

My aunt that had a stroke a couple weeks back here in town, we found out yesterday that they had an outbreak at the rehab place she was transferred to, she got tested yesterday and was coughing, no word on results. My mom was there a week ago too but was only with her a few mins and wearing mask, and its been a week so i think she’s good thankfully. Hope my aunt doesn’t actually have it and its something else, a really bad stroke requiring emergency brain surgery and then covid sounds really bad.

Saw my daughter and grand son yesterday for the first time since February which was nice. Probably the last time for awhile again.

She said Research is filling up again with Covid patients but the vast majority from rural areas. They even had a couple of them recently admitted and asked how they got covid when they took hcq. Can’t fix rural mo stupidity.

As far as beds and nurses, ocity is correct. You can have many beds but qualified staff is limited greatly. ICU nurse typically only handle max 2-3 patients and you can’t have LPN’s covering critical care patients.

Lots of reports like this coming in on Chiefsplanet. Trump is killing his followers and they will still never turn on him.
