whew goddamn thats a good tape, fuck him and fuck his supporters.
Thats murder. 180,000 counts. Plain and simple.
Curious to see how the chiefsplanet MAGAchuds handle this tape.
It’s just locker room talk.
Video also shows how numerically challenged even educated people are, when she calls it „5% MORE deadly“ when Trump was clearly talking about a mortality rate of 5%. This is why there is no chance to actually have an informed public when grasping mathematics is concerned.
Under Mobility and Social Distancing select Social distancing Index
Under COVID and Health select New COVID Cases
Turn everything else off.
Easy. “Deep fake!”
Even if it gets their idiot undeserving kids into the Ivy League school? Your dumbass kid doesn’t get to be a Special Advisor to the President if you give your millions to, say, United Way.
Donald Trump is extra, so he’d certainly turn any ordinary failure into an extraordinary failure.
NYC restaurants can open at 25% capacity starting September 30
My breakup with the NYT actually started with the hiring of this fuckwit. That was when I started to seriously question what the goals of the paper actually were. I thought it was providing good news coverage full stop at the time. Lol me obviously.
“He said he didn’t want to cause a panic but I guess that’s hard to understand for you scaredy libtards”
The dumbest thing about the Trumpkin “He didn’t want to cause a panic” angle is that Trump absolutely made the panic 100x worse by downplaying it. Calling it a hoax and under control for months and then suddenly turning on a dime and pretending to take it seriously for 2-3 weeks is what crashed the markets, it’s what did a ton of economic damage and it also ultimately probably cost a lot of lives.
Of course none of that matters but if his goal was to avoid panic he failed spectacularly.
Yea and I fail to see how him coming out in February and saying this is important and we need to take it seriously and here’s a comprehensive plan to mitigate it with shutdowns, masks, social distancing, funding for these things, would have caused a panic.
Exactly. I was just explaining it to my kid. No, you don’t want to create a panic, but if that’s the concern, you get with your experts, put together a plan, get things in motion, and THEN tell the public what’s going on and how everyone can do their part. Obiously, you don’t just have a press conference the day you find out about the coronavirus and tell everybody winter is coming.
But Trump didn’t do shit, didn’t have a plan, didn’t listen to experts, and continued to tell everyone it was NBD. All to keep his darling STONKS afloat.
Trump has never hesitated to try to turn the smallest possible thing into a full blown panic storm of bullshit but somehow became George Bush on 9/11 when confronted with the coronavirus because he thought it was in the best interest of the country? ya that is fucking believable sure guy
definitely. Its not like the only two options are panic and downplay it. There is the secret third option of adult leadership but sadly we passed on that option when he got elected./
“He didn’t want to cause a panic” also presumes some level of strategy on his part, as opposed to just short-term self-interest. I mean, he’s already on tape saying “keep them on the boat, we don’t want to double our numbers, I like low numbers, they make me look better” etc.
The whole hydroxychloroquine thing was instructive. No rational person promises something like that will be a “gamechanger” without knowing that it has a good chance of working. He just constantly promises things that turn out to be false or overblown (“vaccine next month! looking good!”), knowing that for many people, the new bullshit will just overwhelm and supersede the old bullshit.
Yea i think it just boils down to the fact that he never thinks ahead more than what he needs to do to look good that day or next day, there is no long term thinking whatsoever.
