My brothers friend owns a small restaurant and bar in Oregon. Masks are mandated by the governor. They are having health and fire inspectors spot check for places that are enforcing compliance. Penalty on second offence is permanent loss of liquor Licence, which is pretty severe. Owner enforces it to all his customers but now is in serious trouble because he is being sued by several patrons. They obviously won’t win but he has to pay to defend himself.
Talk about rock and hard place. Just brutal.

Not sure if a billion dollars is enough to ease the guilt of killing off at least half of my family.
I mean that kills off almost every aunt and uncle I have along with my mother and my one remaining grandparent. A couple of distant cousins would be killed as well.

Basically the 18 month timeline is already the insanely fast plan with all reasonable corners cut. Trying to go faster is really raising the bar for unknown effects.

I very well could have been exposed recently. I don’t have symptoms, but I have not been nearly as careful as the median UP regular. I go to yoga, occasionally eat out at I door restaurants, and other things y’all would find stupid and risky, especially in LoLFlorida. I’m going to get a test this week to see where I am.
Eta: I wear a basic cloth mask everywhere I go.

It’s more about, could I really press a button that would kill tens of millions of people? Thanos style? It’s super fucked up to dehumanize people but honestly I don’t think I know any people who are Trump supporters who i’d consider decent people. Like I love my dad but he’s a pretty shit person all things considered.
