lol at 9/22 based on ‘early fall’ bud i already gave you the far more complete info from the cdc. We’re done on this topic. You’re wrong, and should stop telling people to not get their flu shot.
I literally copied and pasted from the CDC website, where they say July and August are too early, early fall through Oct 31 are best. So now is ok, but not optimal as it is not yet early fall.
You could care less about giving anyone meaningful/helpful information, and all but blew off the people who asked you directly just now with a non-answer answer (and ignored this topic when I actually asked about it a little while back IIRC).

And I didn’t tell anyone not to get their flu shot, I told them what the experts say is the optimal time to do so. Obviously now is better than not at all, I’m pretty confident nobody here is dumb enough to infer otherwise. I’m sure I’m not the only one who would like to optimize the timing in such a crucial year.
I believe the most egregious act was going to Costco post-shave as the micro-cuts leave you more exposed to possible infection. This is why I try to stay on his good side. His witt and candor could cut a man in two.

I’ll get my flu shot at my physical. Last half of October most likely.
Crazy thing is that my odds of getting the flu are even less than Covid. Probably a lot less. It’s going to be tough to transmit amongst folks taking good Covid prevention measures (SD, masks). No asymptomatics out walking around. But still it’s a very good idea to do as much as possible to keep flu incidence as low as possible so that hospitals have maximum capacity for the expected Covid onslaught after OFS.
I just someone on twitters say Covid finished off Tom Seaver. Of course he really died of Lewy body Dementia.

Like recently, or since the beginning? Overall, it’s 1.7% but the sudden influx of cases pushes that number down lower than what it is.
The number of active cases has almost doubled in the last month.
As a matter of fact, the active cases per capita in the CR is higher than any country it borders.

I was wondering where the daily death figure stands now. Here we’re seeing ~1500 cases/day and ~10 deaths/day.
There were 45 deaths in August. It appears to me that the death rate hangs around 1.5-2% with people over 55 making up over 97% of fatalities.
Cobb County School District (GA) just announced the “phased” model for in-person instruction will begin October 5. Phased just means elementary school starts, then middle school goes back two weeks later, then high school two weeks later. We have the option for remote or in-person. Four days as week - Wednesday are off to do school work and so the schools can do their sanitizing performance art.
I haven’t been keeping up with this thread lately, so my pony might have myocarditis, but this seems very not good:

The Florida dept of Health website has made a small change to their COVID stats. For example, today it says “149 New Deaths including 8 reported for 9/2.” That gives the impression that only 8 people died from COVID yesterday. But the reality is that there has always been a substantial lag in counting COVID deaths, so splitting the info out this way isn’t very useful.
Kirk cousins is so godly it doesn’t matter if he lives or dies, or takes people with him I guess
