Doesn’t even bother to name the “charity” the money is going towards. Just the dumbest people, top to bottom.

The right wing griftosphere is truly a beautiful and awe-inspiring place of morons scamming each other. Someone should write a dissertation on the subject.

Here’s our local-ish (same state) gym douches who just can’t possibly throw heavy things around with their bros outside. The owners were arrested a few weeks ago for defying state orders. This week they made a big show of kicking down the door that had been boarded up, cause ain’t no liberal tyranny dictator governor gonna trample on their god given rights.

Video of these idiots being so big and strong as they kick down their door:

How much do you think their GoFundMe has raised so far?

  • $0
  • $1-$500
  • $501-$1,000
  • $1,001-$10,000
  • $10,001-$151,697
  • $151,698+

Obviously at the time of posting it was at $151,698 but it’s still going up rather quickly.

It’s good anytime there is a real decline in cases. However I’m getting really PO’d by politicians and news people spiking the football when it’s still a really high case density. For goodness sake, you got the ball at your own 1 yard line and you just ground out a first down at your 12. You are nowhere near a touchdown.

Not to mention the decline in case numbers coincides with a decline in testing with no decline in positivity. California seems to be the one exception.

I had a Bandido working for me for a little while who had a full back tat of the club’s logo. Super nice guy. I had no idea he was a for-real biker until he look off his shirt one day.

Reported the GoFundMe for supporting illegal activity. I expect my savvy use of a web form will resolve this issue completely, and cease the immoral profiteering from risking the health and safety of the general population.

This seems like a very important Covid data week as far as determining our trajectory. Will we continue to see the cases drop? The 7DMA has dropped from 68,000 to a little under 61,000 in the last 10 days. Will we continue to see an increase in deaths?

I think we need to be a little hopeful that the mask mandates are working and we can really decrease the prevalence of the virus through that measure. Obviously 60,000 new cases a day average is still terrible but at least we are heading the right direction.

My BIL is a 1% (sigh) and goes every year with his entire “clubhouse”.

I’ve been a bit disconnected. Florida’s case numbers will be total BS with the testing sites down.

I’m concerned that while the big states are declining we are seeing a number of states showing growth. I want to wait until Wednesday’s numbers to look closer. It’s a whack-a-mole most likely. Maybe we get a dip for August but when schools open look out.

Awwwwwww. Poor Debbie.

I know there are a ton of confounding variables (like closing down a good chunk of testing in FL), but we need to be willing to accept positive changes in the numbers as much as we gnash our teeth over the negative ones. Cases coming down would be great - every little bit would translate into tons of lives saved as schools re-open in the fall.

ONE HOUR APART, FLORIDA CORRECTIONS OFFICER, HIS WIFE DIE OF COVID-19

full story is paywalled, but you can get the synopsis here: https://www.miamiherald.com/news/coronavirus/article244707097.html

The Czech Republic hasn’t been as forthcoming with covid stats as they should be

Translation: Detailed statistics on coronavirus are secret due to a strange exception in the law

In short, the exception is being used for protecting privacy and for fear that the media would msinterpret the data. Of course, the latter is a complete pile of bullshit and all of this would lead to resignations and political consequences but naturally it won’t.

I don’t doubt for a second that the situation is worse than the statistics show. The testing is running at half its supposed capacity and some statistics have actually been wiped from the government website. Policies need to be implemented now but the coalition is afraid to do it now because of how unpopular it would be.

Almost nobody has been practicing social distancing or wearing masks for nearly two months now. Despite that, the number of cases per day has been around the same range for the last 2-3 weeks. Before then, it surged very quickly. How could it suddenly plateau for weeks?

Assholes in the government want to open the schools even in these circumstances with the claim that children cannot spread covid19. It’s clear these fuckers have no children and haven’t been in a school in decades. Kids get parents sick constantly. But I guess these pricks have nannies to get sick in their place.

It pisses me off so much that the fucks in power are very likely to stay in power come 2021.

FL stats site not fully updated yet, but looks like they have 5,446 new cases and 123 new deaths today

There is no way those numbers are correct

245 deaths is what I see. The case numbers going way down is because they closed most of the testing locations.
