My aunt went to get her haircut today. The place she goes to is a husband and wife who have a long running salon in their home. They are wearing just face shields, no masks. Like what in the ever loving fuck will that do? And afterwards she asks my mom to go get dinner at an outdoor restaurant or get takeout and bring it to my parents house. I told my mom that’s a hard no. Why throw away 4.5 months of actual quarantine for a meal? I’m the bad guy of course.

The whole bottled up in an aluminum tube seems to outweight the mask thing to me, but maybe I’m wrong on that. Not looked into that before.

I have that version too. App says it’s the latest. Samsung Twitter now says to call their 888 number. Not too hopeful that’s a good investment of my time.

There are really no conditions that would make wearing a cloth or surgical mask unsafe:
"There are no known medical conditions aside from a severe skin condition [like a very severe burn that needs medical attention] on your face that would prevent a person from wearing this type of mask,” David Kaufman, MD, pulmonologist and director of the medical ICU at Tisch Hospital, tells Health .
The same is apparently not true of N95 respirators, which actually can restrict breathing and theoretically could cause trouble for someone with severe lung disease.
In conclusion:
In Dr. Keany’s opinion, if your respiratory status is truly that tenuous that you’re not able to breathe through a cloth face covering, you should stay home and not expose yourself to any risk. “If you are truly that fragile, a COVID-19 infection could be a death sentence,” he says.

A guy on Chiefsplanet is saying he got a mask exemption card from a pulmonologist - because fuck you that’s why. He keeps ignoring me when I ask him to post a picture of it. Everyone else is dunking on him for being a terrible human being. Oh yeah his username - KCChiefsFan88.
