We aren’t liking it because its a good thing, from what i’ve seen in the past and what i assume here is people like it for people sharing things like this, these perspectives.

I know, I liked it myself, seemed such a futile gesture. It certainly wan’t meant as a criticism

Pretty sure essential worker hazard pay is in the House passed HEROES Act that’s on Mitch’s desk.

Its a literal mandate from Birx and the admin to count as few deaths as possible. Not remotely surprising red states are following orders. It why if you turn on any right wing media they are all chanting in tandem about the death rate being down. It’s how you spin the handling of it and getting OPEN FOR BUSINESS as a win and smart move.

That’s. Not. Normal.

Fuck man I’m sorry to hear that, thats rough. You ever do counseling for what you have to see from your job? I’d absolutely need counseling if I had to do stuff like that and I consider myself pretty mentally strong.

Hearting it to send love, not to like it, obviously. That’s horrible. There’s not much to be said, hang in there.

They are beginning to exhaust their testing and have a red governor who prolly won’t do to much to replenish it. No tests = no cases Science THEE GOP WAY

My wife just ran out to pick up dinner. She has to walk in to get the food, which is whatever. Some restaurants do that. But when she asked about curbside pickup, they said, “We used to do curbside when covid was a thing.”

I hope the person speaking just had a poor choice of words and meant “when we couldn’t have indoor dining” (since indoor dining was also mentioned in the conversation) and doesn’t really think it’s not a “thing” anymore.

No, people definitely think it’s not a thing anymore. It’s absolutely terrifying.

My apartment complex is having their pool opening party right now. Tons of people down there. This is a cruel form of torture. I’m watching what is very possibly the beginning of an outbreak in my very apartment complex, while also watching people enjoy levels of socializing that I am not willing to enjoy right now. Of course tons of women, too.

About 75 people, I see two masks.

The worst I’m doing is golfing but I wear two gloves and sanitize everything all day and keep my mask on. I even felt guilty about it, until I hear shit like this. Lol.

Everyone in my circle is telling me I should lighten up a little too and I’m not even remotely on the same level as some of you are with the quarantining.

My county (appropriately named Yolo) did not make the California “watch list”. Take that, Sacramento County. You filthy animals.

Yeah when I golfed I wore a mask til we got away from the starter, then since it was just my Dad and I, we did not use masks and distanced as much as possible. I had sanitizer in the cart and used it frequently.

Yeah this doesn’t make any sense either. I mean, I think people are more likely to flock to Placer rather than Yolo leaving Sac county (Rancho, Folsom, Roseville, etc) but Yolo should 100% be rolling back too
