I didn’t. She was aggressive and seemed pissed so I just complied to avoid an issue. Had I known beforehand I would have just turned my screen brightness down and she would have been none the wiser. I had it framed where all the camera could see was me anyway, so it’s pretty obnoxious to have a problem but it is what it is.
Is the whole “masks don’t work” bullshit just stemming from the fact that a medical device company can’t legally market their cheap face masks as being able to prevent coronavirus infection, but they obviously actually do fucking work to some degree, and people are just taking advantage of carefully worded language to push a bunch of nonsense.

I was at a jobsite today where everyone had been wearing masks, but now maybe 20%.

Also you can exercise outside w/o mask as long as there’s social distancing.

I have a potentially interesting situation tomorrow. A guy is coming to drop of a CPM machine that I will need to use to help my leg recover after surgery. Same guy who was here in February, nice enough but I could definitely seem him being a deplorable based solely on stereotypes.
I asked him if he needed to come inside to fit the device again or if he could just leave it for me to adjust. He said he needed to come in. I replied “Ok no problem. We just ask to please wear a mask as we are still quarantined due to being on immunosuppressant medications. See you tomorrow and thanks again for the help.”
No response yet a few hours later. I’m almost expecting him to show up with no mask and act offended when I say he can’t come inside.

Definitely hoping I dont have actively have it. Had to get tested to get cleared for surgery on Monday, so a positive result means I have to postpone the procedure.
Very unlikely to have it as I’ve been pretty strictly locked down since early March.
Things are getting crazy in TX, FL, AZ, etc. I really don’t think they know what they’re in for in the coming weeks.

July is gonna be rough all over, but especially in the south. TX/FL get all the attention because of their large populations, but Alabama, South Carolina, Louisiana, Georgia, and North Carolina are all looking rough.
This week has been way worse I was expecting–I was thinking it would be a mixed week, with bad news but maybe also some good news. There hasn’t been any good news.
