Pro-Life+All Lives Matter MVP!

There was a TNG episode where the olds had to be put down at a certain age.

Maybe we can collect money for a future hit man to make sure these people follow through when their time comes.

Thatā€™s why I have ferociously tried to make everyone around me aware that life wont be back to normal for a LONG time. People just canā€™t and are completely unwilling to accept it.

Iā€™ve finally had to impolitely tell a friend of mine that no, I wont be joining him golfing, regardless of the perceived low danger to myself. And I told this same guy (who is a fucking NURSE and has been golfing constantly at anything that didnt shut down) that I thought his behavior was selfish.

I dont have a lot of friends and probably lost one over that. Oh well. I am prepared to be mostly solitary for the rest of this year.

Bodybad purchases the highest theyā€™ve been in decades?? Sound like the economy is rolling and we can expect Dow Joans 25k along with a Trump tweet tomorrow.

I was saw Loganā€™s Run in the theater when I was 13. That scene freaked me out.

Dow Joans is up bigly. This is truly how you Make America Great Again!

Trump tweeting when the Dow hits 25k has to be like -1500, right? Autographed stock chart probably -200

Sounds like Talia might already be the victim of restricted oxygen.

I was thinking the same thing.

Also, Iā€™m sure Costco will make any necessary accommodation for people with disabilities as required by the ADA, thatā€™s just bad faith trolling on her part.

I read that Dr Fauci said something to the effect that the results were so promising that there was an ethical obligation to let the people in the control group know so they could also have access to the drug.

Iā€™m pretty sure I read that quote in more then one article. But this strikes me as very troubling because it means the study was not completed. If you start giving the control group the drug then you no longer have a control group.

I am extremely skeptical of the results of the study. I mean I donā€™t know diddly about medicine or control groups or anything medicine related but it seems like if this was a test they started giving out the answers while the people were still taking the test.

Am I missing something here?

Its just hard for me to trust the motivations of anyone in the Trump administration on anything.

Honestly, anyone who has a disability that prevents mask wearing is probably at hyper high risk and should not be going out in the first place.

They promised the results of the study today with actual data and I havenā€™t been able to find it so you might be on to something. Literally the administration is one ongoing 3+ year stock pump so anything is possible at this point.

If the results were bigly positive we would have a study to read through by now. Itā€™s sad but the China study is probably way more trustworthy than the Fauci synopsis but that is the point we are are at. You can bet your ass Fauci was very troubled when his 401k was cut by 40% at 79.

This moral dilemma came up on testing for previous drugs as well. It is hard for the administrators and doctors to continue to give placebos to people who have a high risk of dying when they believe something else (in these cases, the actual medicine) can give them a real better chance at surviving.

I get the dilemma and I donā€™t think there is a good way past it. The downside is it becomes extremely difficult to determine the efficacy of these drugs unless they are just mind blowing.

I do not know how they handle this issue in normal times, but I suspect it takes a lot of time and effort to set up and manage and they are short cutting right now.

I donā€™t know how they deal with a ā€œconsent to dieā€ in normal drug trials for people who are critically ill. Seems like there must be steps they do not find themselves able to do right now.

Trials have been cut short before when one group was very obviously doing better. I think that happened with AZT for HIV. Not sure exactly how thatā€™s done if the trial is double blind.

Hereā€™s the thing. Even based on what Fauci said the results had no bearing on living or dying. All of these types of excuses are basically bullshit. No one cuts a study short when the non-control gets to go home from the hospital by 21 days instead of 23 days.

Itā€™s a combo of a stock pump + wanting to give cover for the extremely terrible management of this crisis. Thatā€™s literally what it is.

Dangā€¦ he is really upset about not getting his stock options and cashing in that extra 750 million.
