Yes… Up beside the McDonald’s is where the redevelopment started around 2010, it used to be a very rundown area, then a split in the road to rows of old town and tenement houses that the students found were cheaper than the Actual west end (Alough York Hill and Finnieston is the west end).
Kelvingrove Street/Argyle Street-High numbers from +800 to 1200 is what to look for on a map and its where all the popular pubs and restaurants are and the subway you probably used was Finnieston Subway St at the motorway entrances.
Kelvingrove is like 300 yards from there.
And its a beautiful walk down by the river Clyde nowadays as that’s all been redeveloped in recent years and is still going.

I’ve posted 1 or 2 of those in the past, they have me in stitches laughing. 
It is a progressive country, more so now but we’ve been accepting of different cultures as far back as I can remember.

Yeah someone’s girlfriend had a similar situation with an EMT. I thought it made sense to keep the kid away from frontline workers, especially when there is a choice.
Many front line workers are quarantining themselves so they can’t in fact their family. I get a little judgmental about those demanding their children be put at greater risk. I do not get it, personally.
Obviously almost all custody cases are much more complex and have a slew of factors influencing them, so it is flippant of me to paint them all with a broad stroke. But unless there is some actual perceived danger (which in a joint custody arrangement is an issue to start) then I think erring on the side of keeping the children safe makes the most sense.
