On 11 March, CureVac released a statement that its CEO, the US citizen Daniel Menichella, was unexpectedly leaving the firm and would be replaced by the company’s founder, Ingmar Hoerr.
At the start of the month, Menichella was invited to the White House in Washington to discuss strategy for the rapid development and production of a coronavirus vaccine with Trump, the vice-president, Mike Pence, and members of the White House coronavirus task force.
I vaguely remember trump waffling at some presser /conference about vaccine or cure saying that “it would be worth a lot of money” or something similar. Can anyone remember and link that? Maybe a connection as the POutS can keep his mouth shut about anything?
And even if corporate has the gall to try to shut it down, which I doubt, the workers will disobey. I’m kinda tingling.

Speaking of famous people with it, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are two case studies of 63 year olds. They are doing well - aches and slight fever.
It’s disturbing to see these young people with their fit young bodies and immune systems practicing YOLO and LTBL without any concern for the effect their actions could be having on boomers.
