This sounds very suspicious. They bought land in the last couple weeks? Is that even possible?
I think some hyperbole may be leaking into everyone’s stories at this point.

So much of the last month and the coming couple months will be driven solely by people’s inability to understand statistics.
I find this a little hard to believe. I mean in two weeks they had time to change their idiotic, “it’s just the flu,” viewpoint, (mind you most people in the US are only coming around in the last 48 hours), identify and purchase land in the Santa Cruz mountains and procure a pile of weapons, all while presumably still working and keeping in touch with members of their hobby group. I know many doctors are overachievers, but that’s extremely impressive if true.

conspiracy theory: trump “tested negative” but what the white house is not saying is that he was tested before he met the Brazillian carriers at mar-a-lago and they’re just now releasing those results.
It will be curious if he doesn’t show his face in public for a while.
The world is just awful enough for him to avoid getting it.
It should, at least, conclusively end any notion of a god, karma or natural justice.

I still get choked up thinking about how he handled 9/11. He refused to let any HOLY SHIT WAR ON AMERICA graphics or chyrons run, no hysterical fear-mongering guests, just him at the desk for over 24hrs calmly delivering the facts.

This whole thing, not just that image, is a they’re-both-right situation.
This is what it looks like when we decide to not let every old and/or disabled die off.
Nobody said civilized egalitarianism would be easy. The problem is both sides are scared to talk about what they’re really talking about, so it manifests in dumbass arguments like that image.
And both sides are scared to admit how much their convictions waver when tested.

What annoys me with the media is their reporting like “now first player of the primera division infected.” (its not even Messi) Who fkn cares. There are thousands of infected people and athletes are not more valuable than others.
