I think I’m done going outside my house. It blows my mind that people in big cities are still hanging out in crowded bars and olds are thoughtlessly going to gather in churches tomorrow.

A face mask would be like putting on sunscreen at a nuclear test site. lol, that is a goddamn buffet for respiratory viruses. Super lol that they’re handing out disinfectant wipes at some of these airports. Like, come on, man.
I see a mask on and I go, “Oh shit that person has coronavirus.”
Saw a person wearing it in a supermarket and thought “Oh shit. I’m staying out of her way!”
Good way to encourage social distancing.

My good friend/erstwhile side piece is a respiratory therapist at an Orlando hospital. Not four days ago she told me to “stop freaking out” when I mentioned possible school closures. Tonight she texted that they got their first case and she’s worried she and a couple others there are already infected. We hung out Thursday night. Fml

I don’t think I did, not severe enough to seek medical care or get tested so far. I’ve had mild allergy/asthma/cold symptoms but some of them are very weird compared to usual, and some of us were discussing how “weird” colds have been going around this year that could be the virus.
Apparently LA County set up quarantine trailers not too far from my house (like a mile or so - not that close). (For LA/South Bay people/Suzzer - Dockweiller Beach)
My wife got at least a month of food 4-5 days ago and I idiotically made fun of her and complained that we’d end up throwing it away.

Glad I’m an only child. I got on my moderate republican Mom early and finally got through to her. Now she wants to send me some of her hand sanitizer.
But of course her and my stepdad still went out for Karoake in Arizona tonight. Yay sharing a microphone. And she has hypertension. Sigh.
