The boors who voted to close their own hospitals will simply flock into blue cities and demand treatment though, jamming up the entire system and fucking late acquirers who were following good protocol. So there’s that.
One reason is to give parents time to make a plan. My kid’s school told us on a Friday at 5pm that they wouldn’t be open on Monday. Fucks over a lot of people who can’t take off a day with next to no notice.

Yea I’m trying to tell my coworkers not to expect our restaurant to be open for longer than a week or two, but literally nobody wants to work right now and everyone is trying to get out of their shifts, not realize they’re most likely about to be completely broke in the coming weeks.

Crossin any street is risk to get hit by a car but you can cross:
A cul de sac
A busy side street
A Main Street
Roosevelt Blvd in NE Philly (one of deadliest in country)
Right now going out means we are at the busy side street. We will be at Main Street in a week to 10 days and then Roosevelt in 3 weeks.
Pennsylvania is shutting down the state liquor stores which I think is the wholesaler for all retail outlets. I think the idea is to get rid of the bar gatherings.
