If they never started testing nobody would know or care.

My work has just announced everyone to work from home… excluding essential site based staff.

Essential staff means people running the power stations and those in the contact centre.

I run the contact centre… technically I could probably work from home, but that feels pretty shitty.

You’re both right.

Kinda like, and I know this is extremely, extremely rare, like, I might be of only a handful of people to experience this in human history but I swear it’s real, but, it’s kinda like when you burn your finger or mouth from food because even though it’s no longer in the oven it’s still really hot.

This is the Australian politician who has done the most to champion our system of offshore camps for refugees.

I got this from a local laser tag place when I went for my birthday when I was like 10. Had a bad rash on my shoulder/neck for like 2 months.

It’s actively pissing me off in a big way how often the media reports that “only X people have it” instead of “X people have tested positive, but test kits are in short supply.”

Schools finally will close in Bavaria starting Monday.

Got a mail from our boss that the company will give more information in the coming hours after some schoolkid with COVID-19 rode the same train as some of our employees. :open_mouth:

Seriously though, the only real political discussion here happens in the subtext of the posting in the Dem primary thread and most of you avoid that one like the [insert appropriate topical infectious disease] but understand that simply talking about this, preferably in the most lowbrow and humorous way possible, is actually valuable praxis. That neighbor you chat to through the fence is really truly thinking about it all for the first time.

Thanks for dunning-krugering yourself again, simp. The prosecution rests.
