I dunno how much experience people have with these places but my local Quest and LabCorp techs know me by name, and from time served in their shitty waiting rooms I know two things: (1) they can’t tell you how much anything costs up front if you have insurance and (2) most people with private insurance seem to owe a balance when they are called to the window.
Not that people will be driving straight to their local PSC for COVID testing but looks like a golden opportunity for the “Surprise, fuck you!” billing technique regardless of method of delivery. Will be fucking amazing if this requires prior auth.
Yeah I’m usually pretty clean but now I’m washing my hands almost every opportunity available. I’ve been keeping hand sanitizer in my car when I’m out running errands or whatever, but it seems like I almost have to ration that because when I run out I’m assuming there’s not going to be any more available, anywhere.

President Donald Trump said Monday his administration will ask Congress to pass payroll tax relief, as he looks to calm financial markets’ fears over the impact of the coronavirus epidemic.
Trump told reporters that the administration was seeking “very substantial relief." Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin and Larry Kudlow, the director of the national economic council, were expected to make the request of Senate Republicans on Tuesday afternoon.
Cool. What republicans said for eight years under Obama wouldn’t help the economy is now going to save us. All while taking money from key social programs.
Sure thing. Also trump is forgetting to talk to the house who are the only ones who can start such legislation.
