It’s actually super easy. Maybe 30 min actual work rest is just time in oven.

Yeah, exactly. And having your whole house start to smell like stew during the hours of cooking is a feature, not a bug.

I’m not the best cook but I gave the stew a try. It was unreal. I didn’t get a good sear on the steak like I can in my cast iron and I was worried I ruined it all but it turned out great. Best thing I have ever made myself.
