Cooking Good Food - Ramens of the day

Lots of things are quite palatable when you learn to cook / season. I don’t ever eat raw, unmassaged Kale.

I’ll eat kale in soups. That’s about it.

Yeast got wiped out here too. I’ve only got what I already had in. Luckily my current go to bread only uses 1/4 tsp yeast so it should last a while.

I was intrigued by @Yuv 's recipe for shashuka and I decided to appropriate his culture because that’s how us white dudes do. I added cumin, tumeric, and red pepper and some cheese and served it with the finest pita you can find in a Midwest Kroger when people are panic buying and the entire bread shelf is empty. It’s fantastic stuff, will 100% make it again on a weeknight. I fucked up and badly overcooked the tomatoes and I beefed it transferring it to a bowl but I like this photo because it is a visual puzzle for @Bigoldnit. @Bigoldnit, I challenge you to figure out what’s wrong with this photo, aside from my garbage cooking.

Thats fine we already appropriated it from north africa.
I like mine a lot saucier, but i did see alton brown make a vid about it and his version had a sauce that was almost syrupy.

I see the flag etched in the wood grain. Is that it?

Getting warmer. What is wrong with the flag?

This is the bread I make that only uses 1/4 TSP yeast.

It looks flatter than it actually is.

Make soda bread.

Kale is great because it adds a very different texture to a meal.

MICROWAVE?!?!?!?!!?

It’s very easy to poach an egg in the microwave.

Was joking in reference to up thread complaining about use of microwaves.

That sounds delicious. Sure if you hide kale under a mountain of delicious cured meats and cheeses it will be good!

I got to go in 2016 for the Wed. practice round / par 3 contest. Hope my dad didn’t use his one time on the ticket lottery…
