Cooking Good Food - Ramens of the day

Dumber than avoiding gluten when not having Celiac? I’m not so sure.

That’s not a taboo, that’s just a trend.

Like, you can’t say this without directing us to an easy hummus recipe imo.

If he said the same thing about scrambled eggs instead of hummus, would you ask for a scrambled eggs recipe?

I think most basic hummus recipes say to take roughly the same set of ingredients and stick them in a food processor.

At the time that came about, I think there may have been some sort of health-related reasons that made more sense that those underlying some other food-related taboos.

I can loan you my dog. She’s an expert at clearing rabbit dens. One day she killed 2 in less than an hour. It was, tbh, quite shocking. I mean, look at this face, does she look like a cold-blooded murderer to you?

Speaking of which, as she has become a diva in her middle age, I now have to make food for her because plain dry food is just not tasty enough for the queen. So tomorrow I’ll be making another batch in the crockpot. Ground turkey, frozen mixed veggies, a diced up sweet potato, some rice and a few cups of water for several hours on high…makes a glorious mush that she loves.

I want to throw a like on this, but I feel like on principle I should at least know what it is first…

Yes, actually.

:disappointed_relieved:

(she’s literally the sweetest dog…except for baby rabbits)

Maybe if I saw her tail wagging I wouldn’t be as concerned about my face being ripped off. (Sorry, former paper boy traumatized by too many “sweetest dogs” going for my ass and throat.) :fearful:

ahh, gotcha. She’d just run away from you…she’s kind of a chicken

I had a cat that managed to catch an adult rabbit once. Pretty incredible hunting skills for a domesticated cat.

Chows are, uh, a pretty notoriously cantankerous breed, despite the fluff. They were bred as guard dogs.

Yeah…I got her from a breeder that selects for temperament for that reason. She’s has a very sweet disposition, though she still gets frightened when people rush at her going “oh my gaaaawd so flufffyyyyyyyyy!”
