I think everyone is thinking about all these Trump screwed his supporters stories the wrong way.
Imagine you went to a Harris rally and her team didn’t bus you out. What are you going to do, vote Trump? Stay at home? Of course not.
It’s the same the other way. A Harris win is so devastating in their eyes, that they really have to vote Trump no matter what. Some of them will go the extra mile and just say, “Can’t blame Trump, logistics aren’t his job, obviously one of his minions fucked up. Of course, Dear Leader is blameless”.
So these stories are good for nothing other than some schadenfreude. It doesn’t move the needle even a little bit.

This. There is literally nothing Donald Trump could do to someone that dresses up in his merch to get them to vote for Harris. One doesn’t join a cult to respectfully pass on the Kool-Aid.

It’s not about persuading those particular people. It’s about adding to the narrative that Donald Trump gives no fucks about anyone else but himself, not even his most ardent supporters, and hammering that message home to Trump’s softer support.
