go blue
Actually kind of worried that Michigan won’t make the CFP if they do the most hilarious thing ever this week.
What I understand is that will not make the B1G title game with a win. Will be Ore-Indi
Would need a Washington win to go to the title game, they’re only +7 so it’s not impossible.
Technically possible for a Michigan/OSU rematch if Indiana loses.
Is the right side of that chart necessary?
an Ole Miss/UGA/Oregon/OU/Bama moneyline parlay is +310, so you should be in but its not guaranteed
I’d argue they might be better off not playing on the title game. Stay with 2 losses and a win over tOSU. 3rd loss might knock them out.
tOSU, O, and I can all lose in title game and still get in. M either needs to win it or sit out.
it depends what else happens. Right now Bama is the final at-large team and UM was 8 spots behind them in last weeks rankings. If Ole Miss/UGA/Oregon/OU/Bama/ND all win this week then UM could potentially end up as the first team out and would want to be in the title game in that scenario. But in the majority of scenarios where they get help from one of those team they would be better off not in the title game.
I mean if your an M fan, first choice is win two but beating tOSU and sitting conf champ weekend is not a bad option.
But W/L is bad for their chances.
Even with a win Michigan shouldn’t make it. And I’m a Michigan homer. We are so bad.
Then again. All but 4-5 teams are bad so ¯_(ツ)_/¯
10-3 Michigan is out 100% this season. Fair or not.
I’m for maximum chaos. Undefeated teams are fascist.
Real question is if osu plays their starters or rests them up for the playoffs.
Truly don’t care about making playoffs, zero ship equity, but very much freerolling on the LOL factor of beating Buck Tech
lol that is not the question. Osu fans will legit call for days head if they lose again
That’s pretty much where I’m at… but I would like for more and more serious games for Bryce as they enter a championship window in 2026 and 2027
What is the percentage that Bryce is a Longhorn next year.
I assume it is not 0%
Well nothing is zero, but it’s not much higher than that.
I just love that every Ohio State win has had it’s completely unique style and feeling
2021: OSU offense had the most success but they couldn’t stop the run and just got mauled. Emotion: Catharsis
2022: OSU shot themselves in the foot by needing to prove they were tougher. Their short yardage runs got stuffed and they played Cover 0 all game against a sub 4.4 WR and RB and a 5* Quarterback. Emotion: Jubilation
2023: Closest game - Most well executed by both sides. Michigan absolutely had to have it to keep a National Title season alive and they did. Emotion: Satisfaction
2024: Absolute faceplant from Ryan Day on his home turf. Michigan shows the value of having three top 2 round draft picks on the defensive line and probably only won because Will Howard was concussed for 43 minutes of game time. Emotion: Schadenfreude
What will this year bring? I have no idea but I do know that the Vegas line is way too high.
