Let me see if I have all the scenarios:
Washington/Oregon: Winner is in, loser is out
Florida St: Win and in, lose and out
Texas: Win and need 1+ of FSU/Michigan to lose
Alabama: Win and in, lose and out
Georgia: Win and in, lose and need 2+ of Michigan/Texas/FSU to lose
Michigan: Win and in, lose and need 2+ of Alabama/Texas/FSU to lose
Ohio St: Need all of Alabama/Texas/FSU to lose
Just did this off the top of my head, so may not have covered everything.
if Bama is win and in then that means texas still needs one of FSU/Michigan to lose

OSU isn’t getting in ahead of Michigan no matter what. Michigan still in even if they lose.

UM is almost certainly out if Bama and UT win (and FSU). Probably even if just UT wins.
Conference champs seems to still matter a lot. Plus Bama and UT just as big names as UM (if not bigger), so that won’t save UM.
Bama and UT would both have better wins and better loss.
Losing to Iowa should be program ending.

I mean it’s all committee nonsense but the big ten isn’t getting left out imo. It’s a pretty chaotic and unlikely scenario though.
its <1% to happen so probably not even worth discussing but one loss michigan has zero argument over one loss conference champ texas/bama/oregon, they are even behind a one loss UGA

They have a better SOR and SOS over Georgia right now by how the committee measures things.
But yeah I don’t think they’ll keep a one loss big ten team out mostly and shenanigans for that
so i presume you think the committee will move michigan up to #1 this tuesday? because if they are not ahead of uga before this week they are certainly not jumping ahead of them after losing to mf iowa
They should be. They have a better resume than Georgia. The committee hasn’t been exactly consistent with that though.

SMU +3.5 against Tulane feels like free money.
It’s like Oregon vs Washington but w/out Tulane having a head to head win.
(Now it’s +6 because their QB is out)
