lol Beavs got the ball on the AZ side of midfield with 1:47 left in the first half and two timeouts. Ended up having to kick a FG on 3rd down and two seconds left with both TOs in their pocket.
They did not kick a field goal. They ran a fake where the holder handed it off to the kicker. From the 17. Picked up about 7 yards. Halftime.
And theyâd tried that exact fake earlier but it was blown dead because of delay of game.

Also relevant to this game. Arizona recovered an onside kick attempt (actually it went out of bounds) and had 14 seconds difference between game clock and shot clock. Beavs had one timeout, 1:34 remaining.
Arizona ran three runs all past the line of scrimmage with the intention of getting the first down, which they did get on the third down.
Am I crazy for thinking that it shouldnât be that complicated to take off that amount of time over four plays w/out risking a perfect helmet-on-ball tackle that causes a fumble? You can take delay of games when the clock is running to get the full run off and thereâs always an extra second or two between the tackle and the play clock starting.
I suppose a sure handed running back fumbling in this situation is still very rare, and teams have limited practice time, but even a QB kneel with the slight hesitation should knock off three seconds between the snap and the play clock starting again.
PAC-12 is a shitshow. I hope the Beavs can knock off Washington and/or Oregon since WSU is clearly not up to the task
