Are voters locked into voting for the CFP teams in the top 4? Surely Alabama and Tennessee should have leapfrogged into 2 and 3 in the final poll. Or is it because Ohio State almost beat Georgia that they stay #4 and since Michigan beat Ohio State they have to be above themâŚand TCU beat Michigan they have to be above them.
Apparently the Georgia coach printed off one random guy on twitterâs season prediction for their team which was 7-5 and used that all year to tell them how disrespected they were by the national media.
Meanwhile I think they opened at #2 in the national rankings behind Alabama, but I could be wrong and they were #3 behind Ohio State.

Ah yes the famously undefeated transitive property of college football. Reality is Michigan is 0-2 in the CFP and was never close to winning it, same as Notre Dame. It would take two more losses just to reach Oklahoma tier, who actually played some competitive games against the good teams.

Itâs almost exactly like this and itâs not really a knock on Michigan, just the reality of the terrible structure of a âsportâ that seems a lot more like pageantry.
