My wife was so disappointed. Before the announcement, most of the projections had the Bearcats playing in Annapolis which is an easy drive for us.
She is also bummed about the B12 move. Fears they will be an also ran plus the closest conference game is now WV. Before it was Temple and Navy.

Why these major northern cities degrade themselves to the level of Shreveport or Birmingham by staging a fourth-tier bowl in an inappropriate facility to have a tiny increment of extra out of town visitors is beyond me.

My understanding is the local CVBs are almost always the major proponents of bowl games.
Celebration bowl is fun. Announcers are awful, making it seem like saving a second timeout with 1:16 left in case you give up the ball is important. Think saving time and getting into the best 4th down call is far more important. Either way if you donât get it the game is basically over.
Birmingham has an extremely appropriate brand new facility now for their bowl

He needed to transfer for his senior year to either ACC or Big 12. I think an auburn transfer would be bad guidance for him. He has to flourish in a pass first offense against man coverage. Anything else probably does not increase his draft stock.
