Iāve seen this movie before.
āTrees will tap dance, elephants will drive at Indy and Orson Welles will skip lunch before North Carolina State finds a way to beat Houston UConn.ā
Purdue after round 1: Pretty much all chalk in our bracket so far, so surely we canāt lose to a double-digit seed for the fourth straight year.
brb, gotta go fade Purdue
From tied to Louisville at the final tv teamout, to needing a missed free throw followed by banked in 3, to a final four. What an insane run
Itās funny, I havenāt watched a game of college basketball all year. I read one article and almost wanted to put a bet on Purdue before the tournament to win it all. Of course I didnāt. The good news is they probably wonāt win it all.
What Purdueās doing is not basketball. The ogre half nelsons people out of every play and somehow heās shooting 20+ free throws and never gets whistled. It really comes down to which side the mafia money is on and I think itās on Uconn. Confirmation coming when Lurch fouls out in five minutes against them.
Actually Iām changing my vote and hoping Purdue wins it now. A lot of people have a lot riding on UConn and the rustling could reach peak levels when the cheater throws their players like rag dolls and shoots 30 FTs. Vamos Boilers!
GOTY, let go Iowa
Clark is on fire, 7 3s already
Bama is a basketball school now
Seriously though, if UK doesnāt at the very least change one assistant coach I am going to go mad
Was rooting for Iowa but really not a fan of that offensive foul call with 4 seconds left.
Yah. The refball in this game was bonkers.
Wasnāt watching the game, but heard about some a controversial call.
And itās this? This seems pretty textbook. Screener is never set, has a very wide stance and throws a forearm pushoff.
I donāt know what Iām missing. How is this remotely debatable?
This is the hallmark question at the start of every debate. Like, this is probably how world wars actually start.
I didnāt see it until you posted it and yeah, unless thereās something Iām missing that is a foul every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Sucks that it happened with 4 seconds left, but you canāt do that.
They didnāt show much of this angle, if at all, during the broadcast. They showed an angle that gave the appearance of much less movement on the part of the offensive player.
