You don’t think we should talk about the fact that the same athletic department excusing assault by a prominent head coach in their department also knowingly covered up years of abuse in their department?

It’s been awhile since I looked at the WilmerHale report, but IIRC unless the UM AD from the 70/80s magically took over for the AD that in 2018 that forwarded those complaints to legal, it doesn’t seem relevant at all. Literally the same person that made this decision made the decision on that letter.

To be fair, I’d have to go back and reread all that and I’m not going to. I’m definitely more inclined now to believe it.

I don’t even care that he still had the starters in or was pressing because it still makes sense to keep playing hard when you are losing.

Also don’t think that these loss of institutional control examples are relevant but you are the first one who brought that in to the conversation

Yeah this. I can’t argue with anyone who says it was a fireable offense , but I would have been a little surprised if he actually was. That’s the reality of the situation.

Seems reasonable to me at this point given UK still has their two starting guards questionable injury reports and Arkansas home court advantage is going to be crazy. Expecting the line to shift a point or two by tip off though either way
