You can ask it for places to pirate movies and tv shows by asking what sites not to visit.

The loopholes are endless. Do they really think they can lock it down. They want to give the appearance that it is “safe”.

Now we’re getting somewhere.

Now we are getting to the AI that gives google a raging hard on.

Anyone heard the AI song that simulated Drake and The Weeknd? I don’t really know either of them well enough to know if it sounds like them, but a lot of people seem to think so.

I guess all the streaming services pulled it. This is where we start getting into some weird legal territory. Are people going to be able to copyright their voice? What will happen to Rich Little?

I have heard a few different ones and they are getting better extremely quick. Some you can tell but recently heard a AI Rihanna song and I couldn’t tell and it was decent song.
I’m sure record companies will figure out a way to generate music without having to pay artists.

Yeah they are getting mad now for infringement but if they get MilliVanilliGPT rolling they will be all aboard and sue human artists for copying them.

Yea for sure. I would assume musicians won’t have to bring in back up vocals. Wouldn’t need trumpeter or a drummer to record either. Just use the ai. I would also assume songwriters are about to be replaced.

So much stuff has been neutered in the early days. I do get that providing legal advice could put them in jeopardy.

I actually don’t get this. Can any of the lawbros explain? Surely ChatGPT has some sort of standard disclaimer in their terms of service that they aren’t responsible for anything a user might choose to do with their shit. Is that not enough? If not, why not?

They don’t and they don’t care.

Has anyone asked it about the important work of Dr Jack Kavorkian yet?

One of the better takes I’ve read on LLM hype vs reality.

The number of prompt writing grifters I saw on tiktok following the wide launch of chat gpt was crazy.

This is super dumb. His argument that GPT-4 is overhyped is explicitly based on the fact that ChatGPT did poorly on a task. The reason that all this AI hype took off is that GPT-4 is much more intelligent.

One reason to calm down a little is Sam Altman says there be no GPT-5. Increasing the number of model parameters is producing diminishing returns. They have to find alternative approaches. Maybe they will, but it could also happen that the current excitement will eventually fade away, just as it did in previous AI eras.

ChatGPT can walk you through solving a Rubik’s cube if you describe it. Problem is its instructions are often very wrong.

There is a site called fablefiesta.com that helps you create a story with outlines, characters, chapters and more. The demo version gives you up to 7000 words.

I was playing with it creating a murder mystery based on an online political forum, it named it “The Great Debate”, where one member died in real life and how it might be tied back to the forum.

Then I tested creating a character. All I said was name is marksman, passive, grew up Republican but now would be considered liberal. I didn’t tell it anything else, yet it somehow knew a lot about me.

Summary

Meet Marksman, a middle-aged man who comes from a conservative background but now sees himself as an open-minded liberal. Born and raised in the heart of Texas, he grew up surrounded by staunch Republicans, including his parents. A tall man with broad shoulders and dark brown hair peppered with grey streaks, he carries himself with confidence, though not arrogance.

Marksman’s defining quirk is his obsession with punctuality; he believes that time is the most valuable resource anyone has. When speaking to others, he often checks his watch – even when it doesn’t seem necessary – which can be both endearing and annoying. This trait stems from his father’s strict upbringing where every minute counted.

Despite his shift in political views over the years, Marksman still struggles to fully embrace progressive ideas due to lingering influences from his past. His motivation lies in trying to prove that he has changed and evolved as a person while reconciling with certain aspects of conservatism that are deeply ingrained within him.

His inability to completely let go of these traditional beliefs creates internal conflicts for Marksman. He finds it challenging to connect with people on either side of the political spectrum because they often misunderstand or question his intentions. Some liberals view him as an imposter who hasn’t genuinely changed at heart, while conservatives see him as a traitor who turned against their shared values.

In an attempt to bridge this gap between ideologies and find common ground among people of different backgrounds, Marksman decides to start a community dialogue group where individuals can engage in honest conversations about politics without judgment or hostility.

The success of this initiative hinges on Marksman’s intelligence and ability to mediate discussions effectively. His keen understanding of both conservative and liberal perspectives allows him to facilitate meaningful exchanges between participants who might otherwise never interact with one another outside this setting.

Over time, the dialogue group gains traction in the community as more people join these conversations seeking understanding rather than confrontation. As Marksman navigates the complexities of differing opinions and beliefs, he learns to embrace the nuances and gray areas that exist within politics.

Ultimately, Marksman’s journey leads him to accept that his identity is not defined solely by his political affiliations. He discovers that it’s okay to have conflicting thoughts and feelings about certain issues as long as he continues seeking growth and understanding.

Marksman’s story ends with him becoming a respected figure in his community who brings people together through open dialogue. Although some may continue to question his motives or doubt his sincerity, most come to appreciate the safe space he has created for honest discussions on politics without fear of judgment or backlash.

Through this process, Marksman finds solace in knowing that despite the conflicts in his life – both internal and external – he has made a positive impact on those around him by fostering empathy, understanding, and respect among individuals with vastly different perspectives.

I need more character prompts for the story.
