maybe tom sizemore is terrible, i know he was a pretty heavy drug user but i think he’s awesome so i was sad to see he died. obv great in private ryan, but i’ll always remember the look(s) he gave the random sitting in the booth beside them while robert deniro smacked up waingrow in heat…

He won his gold in '68 by jumping 2.24, the world record had been 2.28 for five years at that point. He was still a pioneer in the sport obviously, but never close to a record holder.
