As in not all cops tow the line. Some have conscience and abide by the constitution and don’t infringe on folks.

Because 20 assholes making their own decisions can then spread it to 2,000 non-assholes who also have to suffer the consequences of the assholes’ decisions. That’s something like 60 dead non-assholes for .6 dead assholes.
Because if 20 assholes take up ICU beds and ventilators, 20 other people can’t get them.
