We all know they are seriously undercounting deaths at the moment. The question is are we undercounting by 40% right now or 100% right now.
Of course your brother told us you think someone dying from a broken ankle who then tests positive of Covid is counting as a Covid death. When the opposite is happening. They are almost never testing people after they die and if they did not have a positive Covid test they are not being counted. A large number of people are dying at home who have never been tested.
Plus even in cases where tests exist they are attributing deaths to secondary factors. A lot of effort is being exerted to keep the counting of deaths lower than it actually is.
