if you’re taking requests, I vote for Paris agreement.
However, you should just pick the one you think is best.
- One of the more optimistic models shows 60K. It’s weird because the same model projects more deaths in the UK even though the US has about five times as many people.
- Estimates of over a million dying assumed that nothing would be done. An estimate of 60,000 deaths assumes full social distancing measures at least through the end of May and probably longer.
- It’s only one model. There are other models that are less optimistic.
I personally am not going to make predictions because I don’t know enough to create these models myself. I do know that people who know more than me about math and/or epidemics are still very concerned. I trust those experts more than I trust politicians.
