The world would be improved more by getting boomers off their phones.
2004: son you need to recognize the dangers of the internet. Also don’t tell anyone anything about yourself. Not even your major
2024: son don’t touch cash. My phone told me the fentanyl on it will kill you. No I don’t know the source. My phone that has more data on me than is stored in my DNA wouldn’t lie to me for clicks
Look at the kids’ faces compared to the adults…
I don’t really get it because who is in favor of letting kids use their phones instead of doing chores?
I don’t recall as a child being excused for cleaning my room because I was too busy playing video games but that woulda been rad.
Project 2025 is a big step towards returning to that!

Copied from a post:
I heard this conversation at a restaurant yesterday. The small group of people at the table next to me had obviously come from a funeral. Questions were being asked by a teen girl who just lost her best friend to a fentanyl overdose. I found it quite appropriate to share:
"Older Woman: It was a nice service.
Teen: Mom, how come Lisa took that drug?
Mom: I don’t know baby. A lot of young people are sadly taking drugs like that fentanyl.
Teen: Where did she get it from?
Mom: Oh, there are many bad people out there who sell it. She could have gotten it at school or a party. We don’t know.
Older Woman: Tina girl, we have a problem in our country. Too many strangers are being let in without anyone checking on them to see if they are bad or not. Some of the bad ones are bringin in those drugs. It’s not right.
Teen: Why don’t they stop them from coming in if they are bad?
Mom: I wish they would. But the lady in charge of that just keeps letting them in.
Teen: Maybe if she didn’t do that, Lisa would be here eating her favorite burger."
At that point, the teen ran into the ladies room. The conversation turned political between the older persons. They were African-American and were upset because Kamala lied about being black. Then, they spoke about how Kamala kept black people in jail longer than necessary in order to have cheap labor. The one older male chimed in about her sleeping with a married politician to further her career. (He used profanity, so I paraphrased) When the teen came back to the table, they hushed up.
The older woman looked at the teen and said, “We had some incredible lady role models in my day like Miss Rosa Parks and Miss Harriet Tubman. I just pray you have some better role models than that Beyonce or that lady lettin in all those strangers.”
The teen looked at the women at the table and said, “I already do.”
Communicating truth doesn’t have to be disrespectful. Not telling the truth is extremely disrespectful…
Is there a word for fanfic written by haters?
The older woman in that story?
Albert Einstein
Damn, you beat me to it.
Lmao I got to the part about being mad about lying about black and was like uhhh
I have had actual human beings in real life assert that it is beyond the pale that Harris lies about being black.
