Fair enough. But he was President and then wasn’t, and now he might be again, so my observation from that is something mattered between those times. We just probably can’t ever measure it, certainly not down to the level of these individual news cycles.

Oh we are definitely in the wild rationalization phase at this point. The optimists and pessimists alike. It’s a coping mechanism to survive what is a pretty terrifying next week.

I think garbage is a pretty vanilla term compared to what I’ll be calling Trump supporters if he wins and the country goes to shit, which I think it will. Fuck their feelings. Fuckin’ snowflakes.

This. Im not sleeping correctly even though I have a grand total of 0 control right now. We are drawing live to possible, actual fascism in our country which boggles my mind but like 45% of voters are actively pulling for? How is this real life? Im basically counting the minutes until a resolution.

This is kind of letting the media off the hook, it’s not that they were sitting idly by and suddenly jumped on this, they were looking for anything from the D side to “balance out” their coverage of the Nazi rally in MSG and decided that this was good enough.
