That DK boost is gone in IL. They also deleted the tweet promoting it.
HR totals now at 255.5 for both sites now as well.
There’s some good blackjack promos out there for this sports betting down time that is the MLB all star break.
Draft Kings has a bet $20K get $1K credits. I ran like god up $400 then turned the $1K bonus into $840. I think you have until tomorrow evening to get in on this one.
Fan Duel (I think this part is MI only) has a Tuesday promo of bet $10K get $250 in credits. I ran hot there too and am up $250, that’s before the credits hit my account tomorrow. So overall it’s been a +$1500 day with more to come.
My goal was to try and make $8K through online poker and gambling by next August for a family vacation. I’m on pace to crush that.
It makes me so sad that IL has yet to legalize online casinos. Awesome run, dude.
I did this today. Ran hot. Won 700 + 1000
There’s a dude on twitter, @thepromoguy123 who is a pretty good follow. He does the math on boosts to figure out if they’re +EV plays.
California woat
Out of the blue, brother wants me to place 2 $25 bets on the British. He loses consistently, so I usually pay or collect out of my own pocket.
He wants Oosthuizen to win (+4000) and Dechambeau to miss the cut (+250).
Results:
Luckily I actually bet them. Oost is leading and down to +450. Dechambeau is +1 and right at the cut line
Oops.
So I made a mistake, and in a moral quandary.
Instead of betting Louis to win the whole tournament, I accidentally placed Louis to win the 1st round at 40/1.
Of course, nice problem to have is that he indeed did win the 1st round.
Now if he goes on to win, brother gets the 1K.
If Louis hadn’t won the 1st round, and won the tournament, I absolutely would have paid the 1K out of my own pocket.
So now, if he goes on to lose, what do I pay my brother?
Edit:
Oosthuizen odds to win were actually 25/1 before the 1st round
I don’t know what your relationship is like with your brother, but if it were me I’d just be honest about the accidental bet and pay him the winnings for the accidental bet.
Just tell him what happened and ship the money now
I’m not going to tell him until it’s decided one way or another.
I want him to sweat out the win if it comes down to the back 9 on Sunday. That’s why he bet it to begin with. He’s very successful and the 1K won’t make any difference in his life. But he’ll remember the sweat forever.
The 1k won’t hurt me (I won more than that on the NHL playoffs), but it will hurt the sports bankroll.
For the record, we are very close, and I pay him more than 1K in rent every month. (fixed up Pool house)
For those of you who have had access to the previous big bet bonuses on DK, it came up again for me today to opt in. Bet $600 and get a $300 free bet.
Great promo. I’m hoping one day we’ll get it here in IL.
He essentially booked a bet with you on the 40/1 to win and you’re going to pay him out if he wins and it would have been a double loss if he went lose/win. If the guy goes on to lose, pay him 0 or his bet back IMO. There’s no reason to super freeroll yourself because you fucked up a bet at no cost to your brother.
Don’t even tell him if it’s something he’d get irrationally butthurt about or want to give you the 15 back.
If Oosthuizen wins, give him the whole amount. If he doesn’t, split the winnings with him if you’re feeling generous. Otherwise at least find a reason to pay him his bets back.
If Oosthuizen wins, give him the whole amount
There is no question on this. If Louis wins, my brother gets the 1K

Don’t do it. Only works once.
It’s worked twice for me already. And it confirmed for me that I had successfully opted in a 3rd time on site.
Maybe DK in Iowa is offering it up periodically for some reason? Last time it let me use it was in May.
Just got an email about a class action lawsuit against DK?
Was tldr for now
