More than half of that profit came from parlays.

I’m getting the same. Agree majority of them aren’t good, specifically X player to get Y yards and team wins. Almost always worst odds compared to a SGP on FD. I always try to find a vig-free line for boosts of multiple teams winning and will bet it if it’s good.
CJ Stroud futures looking really solid. Was debating using some of my $100 FBs on DK to hedge with Young, but the +150 line is garbage compared to FD (+190) and BOL (+200).
Bama -21 at Auburn seems extremely high
I’ve got a $500 free bet on DraftKings. I put it on Butler +1 @ +375. On BetMGM I put $1500 on the Houston moneyline at -400. $375 locked up, but I am pretty sure a Houston 1 point win gets me the $375 plus my freebet back. LFG!

DK has a promo today, bet $5000 on basketball Blackjack and get $500 free credits. May be targeted. Very +ev if you play optimally.

Yeah, I definitely don’t have that one. That’s more +EV than the one I did this weekend, bet 100K for 1K.
How long did that take you?
Probably a total of about 4 to 5 hours, spread across the weekend. I’m not sure exactly. I think I can play about 600 hands an hour, maybe a bit faster. My initial inclination was to play it at $25/hand for 4000 hands. Sometimes I would get bored and up it to $50 or $100 per hand if I was on a heater. I’ve tried to do some of these at $100/hand before and the variance can be pretty gut wrenching.
A lot of DraftKings VIP challenges are like this. Play a high volume for a small amount of EV. In this case the EV is $600 but the potential variance is quite large, losing $5K would not be that bizarre. It also pairs nicely when they have leaderboards going, as that much volume will usually get you a $150 or so from that. Plus the earned crowns take some of the edge off.
I think I ended up losing about $500 of the $100K, so I got $500 in profit from the credits, plus another $200 off a leaderboard, and then $37 or so in crown value, not bad for what was mostly fuck around time on the weekend.

I’ve been betting $5k+ a week on DK for a few months now and still not VIP 
I’m not sure what state you live in, maybe that has something to do with it. I also think it has as much to do with the balance you keep on their site as it does your playthrough.
Some of their VIP casino promos I suspect are a bit of a trap. They try and draw you in with small +EV promotions that have high wagering requirements and a high risk of ruin for your bankroll if you take them on, in an effort to sort of martingale you out of your money. I’ve seen some Bet $500K get $2500 type promos where you’re wagering half a million on blackjack for $500 in EV.

How many crowns have you earned this year? With the recent change, their VIP levels are based solely on annual crowns earned.
While we’re talking about rewards, I think Caesar’s Sportsbook has to be one of the best around right now. They have some sort of at least slightly +EV promo running everyday, lines are decent overall, and the rewards tie into Caesar’s Rewards. I’ve literally earned diamond status this year, mostly from sports bets, and that in turn can get me matched to Gold level MGM rewards in Vegas too. So best tie in to real life rewards afaik
