As far as I know, gambling debts due to legalized gambling, such as casino markers, are enforceable. Gambling debts owed due to unregulated/unlicensed gaming, such as a bet between friends, I believe are unenforceable.
I assume something like PredictIt can be sued if they misbehave because they have explicit legal protection from the US federal government, but you’ll have no legal recourse if things go sideways with most other prediction markets.

MAGA types are no doubt less likely to pay but the main reason most of these bets never come to fruition is that people running their mouth on Facebook who are non-gamblers never pay regardless of political affiliation.
