Bailout / Stimulus Discussion (Hints Missed & Shartz Fired)

I think you will still get direct deposit if that is how you get social security. What I read today is there is going to be another group of direct deposits sent out for social security and veterans after this first group goes out.

I cannot see 2k/month for 6 months happening but I could see 1200 for 3 months happening. If they come to the table hard with 2k/month then settling on 1200 for 3 months seems possible.

Looks like PPP money is about to be out(expected). I think we get bill 4 pretty quick as I think both sides will want to add funds to that ASAP. My prediction is a 1 trillion bill 4 by the end of next week with another 300 billion for PPP, another round of 1200, and some money for states and hospitals.

Trumpbucks Get your payment website still not working and still getting the “payment status not available” error. WTF.

There is real concern the PPP is going to run out of money. Inevitably, it will become obvious that wealthy applicants got all the money. Total shit show.

The deal to replenish PPP and bailout states/cities and hospitals has to happen to have a chance to avoid total economic collapse. I’m legit worried Trump will refuse just to spite cities which are mostly blue.

Yea I already got my stimulus check. But I’m in the IRS database because I file taxes due to my part time job. For those that only get SSI or SSDI and don’t file taxes (don’t work at all,) they have to wait for paper checks.

Well, that’s good because surely these valuable Job Creators will get right at it employing middle class workers. The system works!

I have received SBA Loan numbers, which the banker says means funds have been allocated and should be sent in the next few days.

We’re following the spirit of the program and brought back a guy who quit in early March to take a job with the City for that sweet sweet pension and free health insurance, but had his start date delayed due to all this nonsense. Hopefully the forgiveness part of this is as straightforward as the application was.

Got my loan processed yesterday through Paypal weirdly enough. Just funded to my account. Completely insane. Capital One has legit lost my business for life here. Trying to cost me five figures by dragging your feet will do that.

Yes

When do you apply through Paypal? I was thinking about going that route until I found a local credit union and lender I liked there to take my application yesterday.

You can just apply through their website. I gotta say for me at least it was super fast, super efficient, and everything went super well. I’m slightly worried about the process for getting the loan forgiven (I’d feel this way with any lender).

What documents did you have to submit through paypal? They process all my cc transactions.

So my parents seem to be getting screwed with this. They haven’t filed 2019 taxes yet. They made just over the threshold in 2018 so they do not qualify for the $1200. However they made half as much in 2019 and are making $0 now. Will they be able to get the money once they file for 2019?

I gave them the last five quarters of 941s plus a bank statement for February, and my entire paycheck register for 2020.

How long did it take from submitting application to getting funds today?

I definitely feel better about forgiveness using the credit union than I think I would through Paypal. It was nice to have someone actually talk to me on the phone yesterday and answer questions I had. We went over my situation and how I will route the funds and ect to do everything possible to make sure forgiveness is as painless as possible.

Started yesterday around 3pm… got funded today at like noon. Pretty crazy turnaround time.

When it comes to the forgiveness part I’m super grateful that my payroll service is great and I’ll have really clean paperwork.

To be clear Paypal wasn’t my first choice… but it was literally the first of a dozen institutions I contacted to actually give me the time of day, and the money is very obviously running out.

That seems crazy and amazing! I don’t know anyone who went from submit application to getting funds that quick.

My situation is different. This application is actually for my girlfriend who is self employed and the big bank she does business with told her they can’t do her right now. The credit union we went with just started doing self employed applications Monday. Since there is no payroll just schedule c income to go off of forgiveness might be harder to prove I think.

Ill give an update when anything happens as I think there are others in here who are trying to do a self employed application. Just a heads up for those people, I read online from several sources and this lender confirmed, you basically really really need a 2019 schedule c done to have a good chance at approval.

I’m not an accountant but I believe the answer to this question is yes. They should file asap. But please confirm this before doing so.

This had been gone over in this thread and it seems like thats the case. Now that its already passed the point of everyone getting their money though I don’t know. Maybe they will be able to get in on the 2nd batch.
