Bailout / Stimulus Discussion (Hints Missed & Shartz Fired)

Word I am seeing for social security stimulus payments is they are going to go out the week of the 20th.

Airlines get $50 billion including $23 billion in grants. There are warrants but they’re for negligible equity. A complete joke.

Shout out to getting my stimulus check but also owing taxes so just handing it right back.

I have Door Dash app on my phone. I’ve been getting messages all day asking me to log in and pick up orders. When it’s busy, they offer incentives like an extra $1 per delivery. Right now, DD is offering $4 extra per delivery. I guess a lot of drivers got their check and are staying home.

My Chase “banker” didn’t even respond to my email today. But I suppose there are only so many ways to say “I can’t help you”. Submitted an application to PayPal this afternoon. Not much to lose.

Negative. It has a negative chance of passing.

I mean, maybe it could pass the House.

Well my other half got her monies direct deposited. I have not, so I checked the link for myself but was given the Payment Status Not Available message. My sister had not received her payment, so I told her about the website, where it let her input her information and now she’s just waiting for the money.

Not sure why I would not pop up. I have paid taxes. I have owed the last two years, but I don’t think that matters. I have lived in several states though. I’m sure I’ll get something at some point. Maybe with the people in the September batch.

If he tries, Pelosi should put a provision in there to throw him a big parade when this is over as a thank you to our benevolent king for saving us all.

Put in some provision he’ll never read that puts a sunset provision on it for a date way before this will be over. Let some reporters know about it so that when he starts crowing about how even the Dems are throwing him a parade, they can ask him the question and send him off the deep end on live television.

Who was it who said the slumlords would get the loans first? Nailed it.

Not everyone is pleased

Yeah, I made sure to write “I  Jared Kushner” at the top, just to be sure we’d be at the front of the line.

If I didn’t say that I definitely meant to

My understanding is that only people with recent direct deposit info on file with the IRS are getting the first round. If you haven’t had a refund they don’t have your info.

The site is supposed to let people like us submit those details so we can get our manies. Also supposedly, the Not Available status was a result of the site being overloaded. Also also even more supposedly, this has now been fixed. However, I can’t get in either.

Jesus that is ridiculous and the unwinding process is legitimately absurd.

Did you try a bunch? It locks you out for 24 hours after a certain number of attempts. (But they do not tell you how many is too many.)

My accountant thinks my problem was my street address. I was entering it with an “s” at the end, and my accountant says he’s been filing without the s. But now I think i need to wait 24 hours to try again.

I also like how the system tells you how to format the date (mm/dd/yyyy) but not your SSN. Do we use dashes or no dashes? Is my choice of dashes (or no dashes) causing the error message. I’ll try both… Oh wait, is two tries too much, is that why I get the error message?

Great UI.

What’s recommended here for address? Make sure to enter whatever USPS or UPS auto corrects the address to?

You need to enter the exact street address (and street address only) as you entered with your returns in prior years.

But that reminds me, it also asks for the zip code. Jeez do I enter the extended zip or just the 5 digits? I don’t think the system specifies that either.

Ah, that makes sense. I will dig out the old returns then and see what I used.

I guess I am a sicko, but I kind of want a check emblazoned with TRUMP on it. Will be a true collector’s item if we all end up surviving this. Take out the insurance for $1 mill and pray the house doesn’t burn down with the check inside :crossed_fingers:

that’s what i’m trying to do lolz

i haven’t filed for 2019 yet though, that bad?

Did you make more or less in 2019 versus 2018? If you made more in 2019, it’s good that you haven’t filed yet.
