Apollo 13 in real-time & other Space stuff

Well crap.

It probably wasn’t going to do anything anyway. We’ll be stuck with Elon rockets for a while.

Next lunar lander up in about 2.5 hours, ~6 PM EST.

I was confused about the timing but I think this is the latest info

Congratulations being exchanged but beats me what exactly the mission status is.

shrug

I mean they have landed and are receiving some kind of signal, so that’s good.

Maybe it’s laying on its side beaming, ‘I’ve fallen and I can’t get up’

Confirmed upright hahaha, they were thinking the same thing

Not upright. Maybe “upright”. Wtf, at first I thought this news might be a joke.

Landing sideways on the moon is so hot right now.

Hahahaha nailed it

Maybe tall and skinny is not the way to go. Starship might have to add airbags.

Anyone who’s played Kerbal Space Program knows tall ships tip over super easy.

Man that brings back some unpleasant memories.

FAA published TFRs for next Starship test flight, Thurs or Fri 7:50-10:30am EDT.

Excitement guaranteed.

Liftoff in 6 minutes!

I hope this thing goes because I already had too much coffee to go back to sleep.

So hard to believe that this thing is as big as a 35-story building, and it just blasts off at Mach 1

WTF clouds?!?!

EDIT: Actually, the three distinct, very narrow layers of clouds is pretty cool
