I’m watching Megazone 23 for the first time and I dig it! It’s like what if The Matrix was done as a RoboTech cartoon with super-cheesy 80’s pop culture vibes. The pacing is actually more interesting than in The Matrix --the big reveal doesn’t happen until about the halfway point.
I would probably only recommend this for Gen-X kids; most of my enjoyment comes from the retro-80’s nostalgia buzz.

Saw the final Evangelion movie. Was actually really good. Thought the ending was a bit drawn out but overall it was the way the series should’ve ended in the first place.

Embarrassed to say I’ve never read/seen an episode of Dragon Ball. Too busy watching sumo, I guess. But R.I.P. to a master manga-ka.
Caught the first three episodes of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure just to see what all the fuss is about. It’s a lot of fun but I was not prepared for the absolutely righteous masterpiece of prog rock they use for the outro music.
Is that real? Like they actually use a YES song for the credits?
They use a few known tracks for the outro. Jojo’s a great series, really picks up at part 3 but every part is great
Yeah and it’s crazy, the show didn’t give any hints at all that it was inspired by classic rock.

Anime intro/outro theme song bracket could be interesting. Putting all my money on Cowboy Bebop, but there are some other legit contenders.

I burned out on Dragonball right around the Android Saga, and never cared much for AMV’s but can’t stop watching this:
I started watching Deathnote while waiting for new eps of Dan Da Dan to release.
The first episode was OK, but the second has be really intrigued.
If you like detective stories, Death Note goes to pretty wild places.
