Do you object to a deontological preference for some form of democracy even if the output is less than ideal in favor of a consequentialist desire to maximize your preferred outcomes regardless of political system?
When the GOP or right wing media figures attempt to smear Biden/Harris or the Dems in general as communists or Marxists, I believe that most of this forum would be able to accurately identify that as reactionary redbaiting.
When people who arenāt the GOP or RW media figures use those same labels pejoratively to describe other people or concepts(when those people or concepts are not communists or Marxists), I would say that is also reactionary redbaiting. In the context of an internet forum, it could also be labeled as derailing or trolling.
To be clear describing someone who self-identifies as a Marxist or communist with that label would be A-OK.
When Fox news calls an eDem a socialist/communist/marxist, that is redbaiting.
